STUDIO4℃ is a creative studio consistently producing high-quality animation film and video work. Its highly individual output traverses genre and media.

Its major feature animated movies include "MEMORIES" (1995) directed by Katsuhiro Otomo, "Spriggan" (1998) directed by Hirotsugu Kawasaki, and "Princess Arete" (2000) directed by Sunao Katabuchi. In 2003, "The Animatrix" was co-created with Warner Bros. "MIND GAME" (2004) directed by Masaaki Yuasa won many awards such as Grand Prize (Animation Awards) at Japan Media Arts Festival 2004, the Ōfuji Noburō Award (Best Animated Film) at the 59th Mainichi Film Award, and total six awards at Fantasia International Film Festival. "Tekkonkinkreet" directed by Michael Arias won Best Animation Film at 31st Japan Academy Prize, and also many awards from international film festival such as GRAND PRIX for Feature Animation at Anima 2008 (Belguim), JURY SPECIAL PRIZE at Future Film Festival 2006 (Italy), BEST ANIMATED FILM, GOLD FANTASIA, PUBLIC PRIZE at Fantasia 2008 (Canada), and GERTIE AWARD JURY SPECIAL PRIZE at SITGES 2008 (Spain). "Detroit Metal City" which was released simultaneously with live action movie, and "Berserk Golden Age", epic trilogy films -The Egg of the King, The Battle for Doldrey, Descent- were released widely across the world and met fans expectation. In 2015, the film "HARMONY" was released. "MUTAFUKAZ" was world premiered at Annecy International Animation Film Festival in 2017.

The highly anticipated latest film "Children of the Sea" is looking to be released globally through 2019-2020.
