Founded in 2004 in Torino, GraffitiDoc is an Italian production company that has committed itself to the production of audiovisual works with an international scope. For more than ten years, the company has concentrated on producing prime time feature-length documentaries for the major European public channels, mainly for the French-German public channel ARTE, supported by the MEDIA Program. Among them: ‘Dust.The Great Asbestos Trial’ (2011), recipient of several awards at festivals worldwide; ‘The Toxic Burden’ and ‘Europe for Sale’ (2014), sold to more than 30 countries worldwide.
Among its theatrical productions, ‘Thy Father’s Chair’, premièred at IDFA 2015 in main competition; ‘Another Me’ (2016) opened the 57 Festival dei Popoli, where it won the Audience Award.
In the last years tha company has started a department dedicated to the production of fiction, with several series in development and the feature length project ‘Sottosopra’ by Antonello Murgia, based on the novel by celebrated writer Milena Agus, currently in pre-production.
