■OUTLINE

Through the conclusion of "Jointly certified work between Japan and China" treaty, national companies of Beijing and Qingdao in China starts the aggressive investment business to an authorization work and recruits the cooperation production partners. Also we introduce photography studio complexin Qingdao City, a subsidy system with the facilities use. 2. Shanghai Film and Television Production Services Institution provides free services of consultation and coordination for groups of all sorts to produce films and TV serial in Shanghai. The first launch of services include 116 items, include the consultation about policies and information, and the coordinative services, such as the venue for view finding, filming equipment, post production, special filming, props, costumes, make up, scenery, vehicles, insurance, legal affairs and promotion.

3.The Nation’s Greatest Treasures is a popular factual entertainment programme.
In each show celebrity champions the treasure by visiting museums, and plays a role in a theatrical piece,exploring its intriguing history and value.The significance of the treasure’s heritage for modern day is discussed by a relevant specialist. Viewers then vote online with the result unveiled in our dramatic final episode.The winners are displayed in a special exhibition at the Forbidden City. With 2.2 billion requests On TV and video portal sites, and over 5 billion Pieces of online comments.The show became an instant TV and cultural phenomenon.

Masterclass Seminar & Pitching Contest is held in order to develop in overseas expansion for young filmmakers. In the Masterclass Seminar, we invite Vans Stevenson and Jon Kuyper.
Vans Stevenson has been in charge of public relations, marketing, and administrative measures in the film industry for over 40 years.
Jon Kuyper has been involved big-name Hollywood films such as “MAD MAX: FURY ROAD” “THE GREAT GATSBY” ”Hobbit” ”Hunger Game” and many others. In the pitching contest, a trip to Hollywood and other prizes will be given to winners.

Vans Stevenson’s profile

Vans Stevenson is responsible for the MPAA’s state and local government affairs department, which represents member companies before state and local government legislative, executive and regulatory offices. He also manages the member companies' interests on all production, facilities and labor issues. Stevenson is responsible for issues and matters that include proposed legislation, rules and regulations that affect television motion and home entertainment distribution, production and business practices of MPAA member companies, including all tax issues, and the MPAA-administered Motion Picture Rating System in all 50 states, four US territories and at the local level. He joined MPAA in 1989.Since 1978, he has been a public relations, marketing, business, and government affairs executive in the media business. Prior to joining MPAA, he was vice president of corporate affairs for Blockbuster Entertainment Corporation, responsible for financial and stock market relations as well as federal and state government affairs. Prior to Blockbuster, director of public affairs and corporate projects for Erol's, a 200 video store chain that was acquired by Blockbuster.

He holds a B.S. degree, cum laude, in journalism from Ohio University and has completed postgraduate studies at New York University and the University of Cincinnati, in public affairs, marketing, business finance and strategic planning.

Jon Kuyper’s  profile

After graduating from Pomona College, Jon began his production management career with Roger Corman in Los Angeles in 1991 and has gone on to produce or supervise production on over fifty films worldwide, with budgets from $300,000 to over $100 million across all genres.

In 2006, Warner Bros. brought Jon in-house as Vice President and in 2010 he was posted to Sydney, Australia to supervise production on Baz Luhrmann’s THE GREAT GATSBY, Peter Jackson’s THE HOBBIT trilogy and George Miller’s MAD MAX: FURY ROAD.

After seven years at Warner Bros., Lionsgate recruited Jon to supervise THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY: 1&2 and Alex Proyas’ GODS OF EGYPT.

In 2014 Jon left Lionsgate to Executive Produce Sean Penn’s THE LAST FACE, which shot in South Africa and stars Javier Bardem and Charlize Theron. In 2016 Jon returned to Cape Town to produce the action film 24 HOURS TO LIVE, starring Ethan Hawke and in 2017 he produced ACTION POINT, a comedy for Paramount Pictures which stars Johnny Knoxville.

Jon is currently producing Ridley Scott’s RAISED BY WOLVES, for TNT.

5 finalists will compete for the following awards.

1. Invitation to FILM IMMERSION COURSE IN L.A.
MPA will give winner an award of Film Immersion Course in L.A. The winner will be invited to Hollywood for networking with studio executives, entertainment lawyer, and talent agents.

2. Invitation to Pitching Event at Asian Pacific Screen Awards
The winner will be invited to MPA APSA Academy Film Fund at Asian Pacific Screen Awards and pitch the project. The Fund supported The Academy Award for Best Foreign Picture, Asghar Farhadi’s “A Separation”.
